Herman Groen, CSO, Founder
Herman has over 25 years of experience in science and business. He was a researcher and tutor at the University of Groningen and a visiting professor at the University of Massachusetts. As of 2000, he headed R&D of the Dutch biotech company IQ Corporation BV and was later CSO of its daughter IQ Therapeutics BV. Herman set up a technology to generate fully human monoclonal antibodies from human blood cells, generated antibodies for multiple indications and brought one of his antibodies to the clinic. He has over 12 years of experience in drug development.
Hans Hektor, CEO, Founder
Hans has an academic background in microbiology, biochemistry and genetics and was trained at the University of Groningen and Harvard University. He holds an MBA from TiasNimbas University and the University of Bradford. Over the last 15 years he has managed biotechnological and pharmaceutical projects in international corporations. Hans has founded multiple companies himself and is actively supporting other start-up companies. He is furthermore actively involved in business development and licensing on behalf of academic institutes.
